During Bob Ulrichs reign at Target his love of open wheel racing brought Target into the racing business through their sponsorship of Chip Ganassi. Target sponsored both IRL and Nascar teams. This three year project began with rethinking everything that the Target brand touched from the cars and uniforms to the transports and hospitality venues at each race track. It included working with the pit crews, drivers and Chip Gnassi to bring the experience to life. Each year everthing was refreshed, from the bio cards and calendars of the Target team to action packed TV spots incorporating their top sponsors Energizer and Fujifilm.
