The original goal of this project was to help DreamWorks build a distinctive brand that first sets them apart from their competitors like Pixar but more importantly their own properties Kung Fu Panda, Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon. The solution began with a fresh pallet as a ground and simple, contemporary typography as well as an update of the Moon Boy logo. These simple elements helped create a direction as the rolling transformation process started to take shape. The branding process kept evolving throughout numerous theatrical launches and new business channel development. These entities helped inform and inspire the brand look and feel. Project included logo development, tradeshow booths and advertising campaigns, anniversary swag, website, new business unit’s identities, annual reports and studio lobby interior.
