Working with a number of contract restrictions, JCPenney wanted to make Martha Home the centerpiece for its reimagined home department. The store needed to be closed off from the rest of the store with its own entrance. Working closely with Martha on the modern style and finishes on the store design it also included various technology advances. Education is also very important to Martha so the design included an education bar with a projection of her giving tips and holding in-store cooking classes. The store also featured a smart table to showcase her complete line of tabletop collections and custom fixtures to display all the beautiful Martha Stewart product color runs.
