One of my buddies is from a prominent family in Traverse City. His father has a law firm and a home on Lake Michigan with a beautiful vineyard. He wanted to do something nice for his father’s upcoming birthday and asked if I would create a label for their vineyard. There are interesting ruins on the property overlooking the lake so I created this idyllic landscape inspired by the national parks poster from the 30’s and 40’s. His father was extremely happy and sent me a case of wine and tickets to a Notre Dame football game in South Bend.
