Global Bazaar

Retail sales fall off significantly after Christmas. Target was looking for an instore event that would drive people into stores. Their strategy was to create a home shopping event called Global Bazaar where buyers bring fun and unusual home merchandise from around the world. The concept revolved around three beasts of burden loaded with crates from faraway lands. The campaign included a series of full page newspaper ads, a promotional TV spot, direct mail catalog and hangtags. The spot was shot in Canada to keep costs down. The elephant we used was amazing.
